Solid PVC covers with pipe support should not be used when the pool is wider than 5m. Though we use aluminium pipes that have thick (3mm) walls, they just are not strong enough to support heavy weight. They can therefore bend and lift at the sides of the pool, leaving your cover unsafe.
Our supplier of safety nets have been in the industry for more than 35 years and we have been installing their nets for around 15 years!
We use stainless steel hooks and plates to secure the net over the pool.
The floater can not be pressed under water and therefore helps to prevent the net from sinking if your child or dog happens to be on the net.
We use a rope to make a loop around the floater. This rope runs through a few pulleys and when the rope is pulled, the loop closes and tightens the net. The end of this rope is also anchored with plates and hooks and too tight for a small child to loosen. However, when you want to use the pool, you only have to loosen this rope to relieve the tention in the net and then and you can take it off without much effort.
